This special session is moderated by Chizoba Wonodi (Johns Hopkins) and Laura Nic Lochlainn (World Health Organization) Our panelists from the frontlines are alumni of The Geneva Learning Foundation's COVID-19 Peer Hub. What is this about? 1. Share key learnings on what worked in the efforts of frontline health workers to restore immunization services disrupted by the COVID-19 outbreak  2. Identify the strategies being adopted by country programs and frontline managers to restore and maintain routine immunization as the COVID-19 vaccine is rolled out Maintaining routine immunization in the era of COVID-19. A view from the frontlines As attention turns to ensuring the success of the COVID-19 vaccine deployment, we face the ever-present risk that RI will take a back seat, putting childhood vaccination in continued jeopardy. The USAID-funded Momentum And Global Leadership project is organizing this Practice Exchange Forum to answer the questions: What are national and subnational EPI leaders and actors doing to keep RI on the front burner as an essential service to be provided? What can the global immunization community do to ensure that children continue to receive critical life-saving vaccines, even as COVID-19 vaccination efforts target adults? These questions and others will be examined by an esteemed panel of frontline providers and technical experts, who have been carefully selected from diverse settings to bring a fresh take on these issues.
