Malaria: Turning the Tide (Teach to Reach 16)

Something is missing somewhere. Sawadogo Lassane, community health worker in Burkina Faso, said it plainly. Each year the malaria cases do nothing but climb, despite everything he and his government do. More than 1,500 people who work for health, in over 30 countries, started learning from and supporting each other on 29 June 2026. Malaria: Turning the Tide is a new programme from The Geneva Learning Foundation. Request your invitation here: https://www.learning.foundation/teachtoreach It is about learning from and supporting each other to find what is missing. On 6 August 2026, we bring that work together at Teach to Reach 16. This is the first milestone in our malaria programme. It is also step one of a longer walk to the finish line of implementation. You will hear frontline colleagues on what they see that the register does not: fever care that happens in the drug shop before it reaches the clinic, mosquitoes that have changed their hours, and new tools that succeed or fail on trust before a single dose is given. One story shows what is possible and what to test. Hundreds of patterned accounts are a different kind of evidence. Join us for the live event. Bring one colleague who is fighting malaria alone. They should not have to. Teach to Reach is the world’s largest peer learning event by and for everyone who works for health.
