Teach to Reach: Sharath Srinavasan on using SMS to understand attitudes to COVID-19 in Somalia

Sharath Srinavasan is co-founder of Africa Voices and a lecturer at the University of Cambridge. Africa Voices focuses on putting the voices of citizens at the heart of the African Continent’s transformation. In order to provide those responding to COVID19 in Somalia with a snapshot of how the people of Somalia were thinking in the early days of the epidemic, Africa Voices asked 51,000 listeners of its established multimedia interactive platform called Imaqal (‘listen to me’). Join our dialogue with Sharath Srinavasan to hear how it turned out. The Teach to Reach Innovation Dialogue showcase innovations for routine immunization.
